3 stars because they found my items. But they had the audacity to discard my 80L Osprey hiking backpack which has a significant market value of 2000 Sek. It is actually against the law in Sweden to throw valuable objects that you find. Hence, I believe there has been criminal negligence here. Their justification was that my backpack had food that was rotting and spilled. I believe it was a yogurt. Obviously, if it takes them a month to register my backpack after finding it, the food is going to spoil. Is that ground for disposal? I don't think so. Obviously, the backpack could easily be cleaned. Nobody would throw a valuable backpack just because it's dirty. Obviously it's salvageable. They told me they "couldn't" save it for me because it was rotting and smelly. They certainly could, but they didn't want to. I bet if it were their own belongings they'd feel differently about it and wouldn't act so carelessly. Not only that, they somehow managed to retrieve my laptop from within the dirty backpack but they failed to retrieve my electric toothbrush and charging plug along with many other small items. I also consider this to be negligent. I think they can do much better than this if they wanted to. It's easy to treat other people's belongings without respect. Well well. Poor display truly. Not to mention my jacket which contained my phone, which was separate from the backpack. Somehow the jacket disappeared also, along with my Christmas gifts. It's very mysterious to say the least. I feel like something fishy going on there. I do not trust the staff that returned my things to me. They made some unprofessional statements and were generally unpleasant. Much to the contrary of many other staff I've been in contact with regarding this matter, who were very caring, compassionate and helpful.
