Skeppsholmen Utkikspunkt i Stockholm — Saltsjön

2026 : Stockholm's old town post card view can be seen from Skeppsholmen side. It can be reached via the Skeppsholmen bridge and 5-10 minutes walk from the Central area. During winter early morning views are really colorful with sunlight shining on the bright architectures of the old town. A walk along the Skeppsholmen during evening is also beautiful with the lights. The place can be reached using the SL bus line 65 or can also be walked from the central station area within a walking distance of 5-10 minutes.

Ships Island ( Skeppsholmen) Stockholm. Holme is an old Word meaning Island ' it can be small or big' mostly small. Skeppsholmen is located south of Grand Hotel and the National Museum. It is surrounded by water ' boats and Great views. Here you will find the Modern Museum ' EastAsian Museum and the Eric Ericsson Hall. The modern Museum have a restaurant for lunch. The whole Island is tranquill and you will enjoy the serenity here as a break from more central areas 'you have at least 2 places here to stay 'Hotel Gröna Gången ( green Isle). And The Chapman ' a place located on the ship seen on the photo. A bit unsure of that Ship but people used to stay there. You have to check it out for accomodation yourself.

Skeppsholmen Viewpoint provides breathtaking panoramic views of Stockholm's harbor and city skyline. I appreciated the picturesque scenery and peaceful atmosphere, making it an excellent spot for enjoying the city's beauty.
