KI Residence Solna i Hagalund — Fogdevreten 11-15

Som gammalt Tomtebodabarn så tycker jag att ytan nu har används på ett bra sätt med husen som byggs på skogsrundan.

Lovly first home for university students. Very comfortable and has a good size. Building 11 overpriced and small Building 13 the most ideal building. You share a kitchen but the kitchen are well sized. And you have a fridge in your own home. Building 15, this is a gamble. The flatmate situation can turn into a boon or a complete disaster! I had a disaster of a flatmate! Frustrated old woman who felt she was the centre of the universe. Created a toxic environment and would go to any extent to make your life hell! and won't let you be in your own space peacefully! Guests are out of question for anyone moving into 15-1605 anytime soon (because she hates the happiness of anyone)😅 Don't tell me you weren't warned 😅 Also ki housing admin is horrid! They have random queues which make no sense.. and their support for residents going through an actual crisis -Terrible!

Looks very nice and facilities are okay, despite some outages and issues especially with laundry and elevators. But it's really just a student dorm. If you are a visiting researcher I don't recomend living in a private studio with shared kitchen. Makes it too easy for people to steal or ruin your belongings. Had some expensive headphones stolen (yay)b along with less expensive things. Also beware of bike storage as there are people who will be really rough and break parts of your bike... Even steal your brakes :( Again laundry: a few technical issues, some user error. Literally just took my clothes out and someone had put teabags in the washer that I didn't see. Visiting researchers should also note that building 13 has parties in the common space so if your room does not seal properly you won't be able to sleep some Fridays and Saturdays. RIP if you live above The Spot. Though the contract stipulates quiet hours, the RAs are typically at the parties or don't receive support from KI housing to enforce said quiet hours. But if you're a student and feel social, don't keep anything in public spaces, have at it, live your life.
