Badminton Stadium-Skanstul i Södermalm — Hammarby Slussväg 4

This is a badminton club, near to Skanstull tunelbana (green line from T-central station). Its approx 10-15 min walk from Skantull tunnelbana. During summer the opening time is till 19.30 hrs. There are many badminton court which is basically hard courts. Its indoor. We can book for several hours for particular court and can play there. Environment and ambiance is very good. There behavior is also good.

Great badminton courts and nice personnel

Been going there every week for two years. It's quite pricey for what you get. Everything is old and lots of things are in desperate need of renovation. In the summer it gets very warm, and in the winter it would rain down water from the ceiling on to the court (!). Their booking system is pen and paper (hello it's 2020!) and it can be problematic getting a good time slot. You have to call a week in advance. The changing room (for men) needs renovation, easily gets crowded and the wall clocks in there doesn't work. Showers are dirty with poor water pressure. Lockers are old, broke and sometimes can't open/close them. Bonus for the sauna though! Honestly the only thing keeping me going there is the location and the fact that the courts has everything you need. You'd think from looking at the inside that the facility is struggling financially but I very much doubt that seeing how popular it is. Service is most of the time good but sometimes not. Hope the owners will start changing things for the better soon 🙏
